Most projects start with a single question: who charged how much – and who pays for it? That is exactly where the CPMS portal comes in. It connects charging stations from any manufacturer via OCPP, assigns every session to a user, a vehicle or a tenancy, and turns that into billing anyone can follow – with nobody copying meter readings by hand.

For the people actually charging, the NeuraCharge app is the front end: unlock, follow the session in real time, see the cost and receive the invoice automatically. Guests and visitors charge ad hoc via QR code, with no registration at all.

As soon as several vehicles hang off one grid connection, smart charging joins in. It distributes the available power dynamically, shifts sessions into cheap time windows and keeps the building connection below its limit. That is usually the alternative to an expensive grid upgrade – and the lever that makes charging infrastructure pay for itself.

Questions about the NeuraCharge products

CPMS stands for charge point management system – the software that operates charging stations rather than just installing them. It connects the charge points, controls who may charge and when, records every session and bills it. The NeuraCharge portal is such a CPMS and talks to charging stations over the open OCPP standard.

No. If all you need is billing, start with the portal; the app is added once drivers should unlock and pay themselves. Smart charging pays off as soon as several charge points share one connection or energy costs start to hurt. You can add to the setup at any time without replacing hardware.

As a rule, yes. NeuraCharge is vendor-neutral and connects charging stations via OCPP 1.6 (JSON) – the standard supported by virtually every wallbox and charging post on the market. There is no need to replace hardware.

Every session is assigned to a user at unlock – via app, RFID card or ad hoc by QR code. Billing is per kWh charged, at the tariff you set. The portal turns that into invoices and exports and can hand them straight to your ERP, payroll or property management software through an API.

Two things. First, capacity: instead of giving every vehicle full power, the system distributes the available connection capacity dynamically – so more charge points fit on the same line. Second, cost: sessions move automatically into time windows with cheap electricity instead of all starting at the most expensive hour.
